The Nice Côte d’Azur local authority selected the consortium led by Antea Group to develop its local intercommunal urbanism plan. The city is facing many challenges including conservation of the Plaine du Var sector of national interest, tourism in coastal areas and in mountain resorts (Auron, Isola 2000), specific sensitivities related to heritage, landscape and natural hazards, and urban renewal.
The development of the local intercommunal urbanism plan will strengthen the coherence of public policies and the private operators in a region in need of new economic prosperity. The assignment consists of drafting the relevant regulatory urban planning documents in various steps (territorial diagnosis, drafting a sustainable development strategy, development planning and regulations).
“THE SUCCESS OF ANTEA GROUP IN FRANCE CONTRIBUTES TO THE INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION OF THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION. I RECOGNIZE THAT WITHOUT THE GROUP’S POWER IN ITS INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION, WE WOULD NEVER HAVE WON THIS PROJECT.”
Jacques Perret, Project Manager France
